When you think of “Entrepreneur Development” what is the first thing that comes to mind? Some may feel that this is some form of strategic business planning? Some of you may suggest that it is positive business development building tools that create a better business model. But then you may even feel that this is coaching system to create a strategy for personal success. Well if you where thinking any of the above then guess what folks, you are right!
In a strong economy where business is flowing easily, it’s easier to grow without good tools, training, and systems. However, in tight (i.e. scared) economies, you really need to raise the level of your C. Nashed in order to grow.
Identify areas for cost cutting and cut costs as early as you can. Try to do it so deep that you do not need to repeat the activity. Don’t forget that management also need to be seen to make sacrifices not just the staff. Avoid extravagant demonstrations of spending in order to buy staff goodwill.
I think affiliates are known as the innovators out there, and that’s what keeps it moving forward. I don’t know if I could predict anything specific, but it’s going to be exciting to watch.
There was a time when this was not so, but with the explosion of the internet and inexpensive broadband becoming increasingly more available, an increasing number of people reach for their laptop when considering using your professional services, and if you site does not appear at least within the first two pages of the search results then you have had it. Yellow pages are old hat and people no longer walk the streets searching out your offices.
Why else would companies pay motivational speakers to train their sales teams? Why on earth would you find people paying up to $10,000 and more to hear top professional speakers opinions? Because the newbie entrepreneur and even the professionals will still need personal training to become better at what they do that’s why.

Make sure that new business development has dedicated space on your calendar every single week. Think of this activity like a funnel. You always need to have a pile of new contacts coming in the top of the funnel so you’ll have plenty coming out the bottom.
